Iran carried out an unprecedented aerial assault on Israel on Saturday, deploying 170 drones, over 30 cruise missiles, and more than 120 ballistic missiles towards Israel. Despite the extensive barrage, only a few projectiles breached Israel’s borders, resulting in minor damages at the Navatim Airbase, as reported by the IDF.

Reports indicate that President Biden contacted Netanyahu to commend him for repelling the attacks while also advising against retaliating against Iran to prevent escalating tensions in the region. American and Israeli experts strongly criticized President Biden’s perceived cautious approach to Iran following Tehran’s extensive aerial assault on Israel.

This marked the Islamic Republic’s very first direct missile and drone attacks on Israeli soil. The significant developments in the Middle East have prompted demands for the Biden administration to reconsider its lenient approach towards the ayatollahs governing the theocratic state and exhibit more robust backing for Israel. But there have also been demands, particularly from anti-war and Pro-Palestinian activists, to withhold any further support to Israel.

We want to ask you, the reader: do you believe the U.S. should support Israel in their war with Iran? Answer in our poll below and leave a comment on the best policy direction needed for the developing war between Israel and Iran.
