TRUMP IS THE MAN OF STEEL
“DC should stop allowing foreign companies to buy American companies.” — DML
President Trump just dropped a bombshell for U.S. Steel workers in Pittsburgh, and it’s the kind of news that makes you proud to be American. On Friday, he stood tall and told those hardworking men and women: “You’re going to stay an American company!” This isn’t just talk—it’s a promise backed by action. After months of uncertainty over a potential $15 billion sale to Japan’s Nippon Steel, Trump’s making it clear: U.S. Steel, a cornerstone of our industrial might, isn’t going anywhere. This is about protecting our workers, our economy, and our national pride.
Let’s break it down. U.S. Steel isn’t just any company—it’s a symbol of American grit, forged in the fires of World War II when it powered our “Arsenal of Democracy.” Letting it fall into foreign hands? That’s a betrayal of every steelworker who’s poured sweat into those mills. Trump gets it. He’s not letting globalists or bureaucrats sell out our heritage. His plan? A “planned partnership” with Nippon Steel that keeps U.S. Steel American-controlled, with Pittsburgh as its headquarters. And he’s doubling tariffs on imported steel—from 25% to 50%. Why? Because at 50%, foreign competitors can’t undercut our workers. It’s a wall of protection for American jobs.
The left and their media cronies will cry “protectionism” or “trade war.” Let them. They don’t care about the 70,000 jobs or the $14 billion economic boost Trump’s move secures. They’d rather see our factories shuttered and our workers on unemployment. Not Trump. He’s fighting for the forgotten men and women of this country—the ones who build, not the ones who pontificate on MSNBC. He even joked with steel execs, asking if they wanted 40% or 50% tariffs. They said 50. Trump’s response? “I had a feeling you’d say that.” That’s leadership with a spine.
This is bigger than one company. It’s about reclaiming America’s industrial soul. Trump’s tariffs are already forcing companies like Volkswagen to invest here, not overseas. The elites hate it because it disrupts their globalist playbook. Too bad. The American people gave Trump a mandate, and he’s delivering. U.S. Steel stays American, and that’s a win for every patriot who believes in “Made in the USA.” Keep fighting, Mr. President. We’ve got your back
