The cover to my new book, coming soon.

Trump’s $1,000 Baby Bonus: A Taxpayer-Funded Mirage in an AI-Doomed Future

President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” (H.R. 1, 119th Congress) introduces “Trump Accounts,” a one-time $1,000 federal deposit for newborns born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028. These tax-advantaged accounts, structured as individual retirement accounts (IRAs) but distinct from Roth IRAs, allow up to $5,000 in annual parental contributions (adjusted for inflation) until the child turns 18. Funds must be invested in low-cost, diversified U.S. stock index funds, managed by the Department of the Treasury or designated financial institutions. Mark my words: Expect banks to eagerly promote this program as they vie to manage these funds.

Distributions, restricted until age 18, can fund education, homeownership, or starting a business. I don’t know how this works—the math doesn’t equate. If the money is placed into the S&P 500, and it returns 10% annually, that means it will double value every 7 years. Therefore, assuming the parents do not contribute any additional monies, by the time the kid is age 7 they’ll have $2k. At 14, it’s $4k, and at 21, $8k. Do any of you know a college education that can be funded with $8k, let alone a house or business?

FRAUD

The bill doesn’t explicitly prohibit parental access, implying custodial oversight through withdrawal limits, but it lacks detailed safeguards against fraud or mismanagement. I guarantee you, the cases of fraud will be overwhelming, and the amount of parents who grab the money is endless. Another head-scratching fact: the baby must have a social security card—and we all know how easy they are to steal. Either way, this means the 40 million illegals who are here now, pumping out kids with 14th Amendment protections, are all getting free money.

Trump ain’t funding this with his own money, this $1,000 gift comes directly from taxpayers’ pockets, a federal expenditure with no clear funding mechanism outlined in the bill. Given the government’s history with Social Security—where taxpayer-funded contributions were squandered, leaving the fund on the brink of insolvency—there’s little reason to trust these accounts won’t meet a similar fate. Taxpayers are footing the bill for a program that risks evaporating into bureaucratic mismanagement, a welfare handout masquerading as opportunity.

Trump’s heart is in the right place, aiming to give kids a financial head start, but if he truly wanted to secure their future, he’d slam the brakes on artificial intelligence instead of doing deals with the devil.

AI is a threat far graver than nuclear war, an asteroid strike, or a true COVID-scale pandemic. It’s poised to unravel the world these children will inherit, as I argue in my upcoming book, INCURABLE: How AI Will Kill Society And The Life We Loved. Within 20 years, AI will obliterate nearly every job imaginable, rendering traditional economies obsolete. That taxpayer-funded $1,000, even if it grows to $8,000, will be meaningless when work vanishes, and wealth concentrates in a few tech giants’ hands. Even those giants will eventually falter as AI’s self-evolving nature makes it too powerful to control once it gets enormous.

Trump’s AI deals with foreign nations, though well-intentioned, erode U.S. dominance. Building AI is not like building a stealth bomber. It’s code! It can be reverse-engineered, leveling the global playing field. In short, the Congo can be just as powerful as the U.S., without owning a single tank, ship, or missile. All they need is a powerful AI system and presto, they are a super-power.

Trump’s advisors, blind to AI’s existential peril, push short-term gains by empowering other countries who will replicate our AI prowess. Trump thinks we will have AI dominance, but he is wrong. Sooner than you think, no nation will hold a unique edge, leaving everyone vulnerable to AI’s anti-human tide.

In INCURABLE, I warn AI will dismantle society, replacing workers and upending monetary systems. Taxpayers’ $1,000 investment will be futile for babies facing a jobless dystopia. And if you think I’m exaggerating, so did all those fools who told me I was fear-mongering when reporting from the border in 2008. Nearly two decades ago, I started sounding the alarm on the border crisis — 17 years later I am proven right. Today, terrorists are hiding in plain daylight in every state, schools are overloaded, hospitals overcrowded, housing is in short supply, jobs are being stolen, crimes of rape and murder are everywhere… the list is long. Now, I’m screaming about AI—a thousand times louder because it’s two thousand times more dangerous.

My book, set for release in months, launches my mission to halt AI’s takeover. Suddenly, this is my life’s next chapter — trying to save us from a terminal disease called AI. I will need your support to warn the world and stop this catastrophe.

Mr. President,
If you really want to help a baby, create a law that never allows them to pick up a digital device. Instead of a $1,000, give them a ball and a bike — like the old days.
