NB.1.8.1 – Another COVID Scare, or Just More Hype to Derail Trump’s Economic Boom?

Folks, here we go again. The media’s sounding alarms about a new COVID variant, NB.1.8.1, like it’s 2020 all over again. But let’s cut the BS: COVID was overplayed from the start, and this new strain’s getting the same hyped-up treatment. I posted a question on Facebook today, “The new Covid variant. Real or another attempt to sideline Trump?” The majority of people show no concern about the variant and believe it’s all a game of deception.

There are no shortage of so-called “medical experts” waving red flags, but there are plenty of reasonable doctors —like Dr. John Brownstein from Boston Children’s Hospital and Dr. Amy Edwards from Case Western—who are saying, hold up, this isn’t the apocalypse. They’ve noted NB.1.8.1, while more transmissible, doesn’t pack a deadlier punch than prior strains. Hong Kong officials agree, saying there’s no evidence it’s worse. So why the panic? It’s almost like someone’s trying to throw a wrench into America’s comeback.

Let’s talk timing, because it stinks worse than a swamp. President Trump’s about to crank the economy into high gear. Stocks are climbing—the S&P 500’s up 15% since his election, fueled by optimism over tax cuts and deregulation. Interest rates? The Fed’s signaling cuts, with markets expecting a drop to 3.5% by mid-2026, boosting small businesses and homebuyers. Unemployment’s at historic lows, and energy policies are slashing costs. America’s roaring back, and then—bam!—here comes NB.1.8.1, conveniently dominating headlines. Coincidence? You tell me.

Back to COVID’s history: lockdowns crushed small businesses, masks became a political litmus test, and vaccines were sold as a cure-all while side effects got swept under the rug. The fear machine ran overtime, and now it’s cranking again. Brownstein told ABC News this variant’s surge in China is just a numbers game—more infections, not worse ones. Edwards says hospitalizations are up abroad, but it’s a “standard summer surge,” not a death spiral. Yet, the media’s screaming “new variant!” while ignoring these calmer voices. Why? Fear sells, and it distracts from Trump’s wins.

This isn’t about denying science; it’s about demanding truth. NB.1.8.1 might spread, but experts like Dr. Andrew Pekosz at Johns Hopkins say it’s not causing worse illnesses. So, let’s focus: this is not the end of the world. This is the media’s attempt to get clicks and have Trump look bad at some point soon when he downplays the risks of the new variant. Meanwhile, considering Mary and I are both over 55, we will take our precautions like we did the first time — never getting sick as a result. I will double up on my DML CBD Power+ (once at night before bed, and once after breakfast), and Mary, who prefers the DML CBD Softgels, will do the same. Just like in 2020, we know DML CBD will keep our immune system brutally strong, and we’ll wash our hands throughout the day — especially when we’re in public places. We will not buy into the media’s hysteria. We will never wear a mask, nor will our kids. We will not social distance, and we will not get the jab — EVER.

The new variant is by design, in my opinion. Trump’s got the economy humming—he’s got China pissed off and the Democrats running scared — don’t let this recycled scare derail your excitement for the future. Plandemics are easy to spot, it’s Hype 2.0.
