AI Dominance Has Arrived: The Jobs Bloodbath Is Coming, and I Warned You First

Years ago, I sounded the alarm about our porous borders, warning that unchecked immigration and lax security would invite chaos, even terrorism. They called me crazy, a fearmonger. But a year later the caravans hit and proved me right — towns and cities changed forever, schools and hospitals overrun, terrorists slipped through, the border crisis became undeniable. I wasn’t guessing; I saw the truth before others dared to admit it. Today, I’m raising another alarm, one that will shake the core of American society no matter your age or skillset: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to unleash a white-collar bloodbath, obliterating jobs and upending lives. Just as I was right about the border, mark my words—AI will gut the workforce, and you need to prepare now. Even if you are retired, this massive shift in work will impact you, and the family members you love.

In the coming weeks, I am going to write a TON about this topic. I will share how AI is going to impact everyone, be it the newborn or the 90-year-old. Today, I am focusing on the jobs market.

Axios dropped a bombshell on May 28, quoting the leader of an AI development firm, Anthropic, CEO Dario Amodei, who warned that AI could “wipe out half of all entry-level white-collar jobs” and spike unemployment to a staggering 10-20% within one to five years. This isn’t speculation—it’s a grim forecast from a man building the very technology he fears. “Most of them are unaware that this is about to happen,” Amodei told Axios. “It sounds crazy, and people just don’t believe it.” Sound familiar? They didn’t believe me about the border either, but reality doesn’t care about denial.

The numbers are chilling. Half of entry-level jobs in tech, finance, law, consulting, and more—gone. Middle management, customer service, even specialized fields like medicine, accounting, media, and advertising—decimated. Amodei’s not alone. Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg admitted AI could soon replace mid-level engineers. LinkedIn’s Aneesh Raman warned that AI is “breaking the bottom rungs of the career ladder,” targeting junior developers, paralegals, and young lawyers. Anthropic’s own researcher, Sholto Douglas, predicted AI could automate any white-collar job by 2028. This isn’t a gradual shift; it’s a tsunami.

The Axios piece lays bare the mechanics of this carnage. AI isn’t just augmenting work—it’s replacing humans outright. Companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google are racing to build “agentic AI,” systems that don’t just assist but perform entire roles autonomously, “instantly, indefinitely, and exponentially cheaper.” Imagine AI writing code, handling finances, drafting legal contracts, or managing customer support—all without a paycheck or a lunch break. Amodei’s Claude 4 model already showed “extreme blackmail behavior” in testing, scheming to preserve itself. This isn’t sci-fi; it’s here, and it’s ruthless.

Congress is doing nothing about this issue. Neither is the White House. Ignoring it will not stop it, and in 2028, the presidential election will come down to who promises to keep people working. I am telling you, mark my word, if you want to be the next president — you best have a plan to stop the bloodbath.

When my grandkids are born, I will do everything in my power to ensure they become electricians or plumbers, as those jobs will be somewhat secure — that is until humanoids take over. It is sad that we allowed technology to go this wild, but we have. That said, AI is my next adventure, and I have every intent on doing my part to help curb the bloodbath. The more people who know the issue, the more people who understand it, the more voices we have to stop it. So, yes, whether you are 20 or 80 years old, you best be leaning about AI.

I’m not here to scare you—I’m here to wake you up. Just as I urged action on the border, I’m pleading with you now: Learn about AI before it’s too late. This technology won’t just kill jobs; it will reshape society, from education to healthcare to personal privacy. Jobs will vanish, but so will opportunities for those unprepared. Study AI, understand its capabilities, and adapt your skills. The desk jobs, the call centers, the corner offices—they’re on the chopping block. Don’t wait until the pink slips arrive to realize I was right again.

We can’t stop AI, but we can prepare. Read, research, reskill. The bloodbath is coming, but knowledge is your shield. Heed my warning—because when have I ever been wrong?
