A COURT OF DISAPPOINMENTS
JUSTICE WAS DESIGNED TO BE BLIND. INSTEAD IT IS BIASED AND UNFAIR.
I feel compelled to begin this report by stating that our president was unfairly charged with numerous crimes due to political motivations. Watching Trump face what can only be described as a kangaroo court repeatedly over the past few years has been deeply troubling. First, if this can happen to him, it can happen to any of us. Second, seeing the courts support this witch hunt has left me questioning whether we truly are a nation governed by laws. Are we still a country where every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty, or has it become a system where you are guilty until you prove your innocence—and even then, if the courts dislike your story, political affiliations, or even your skin color (white), you’re out of luck? Setting Trump aside, I present three stories below—all making headlines this week. Read them, and then ask yourself: how can we have confidence in our courts?
UNFAIR in TEXAS
The rot in our justice system runs deep, allowing criminals to walk free while victims receive no closure. Consider Karmelo Anthony, a 17-year-old Black individual accused of stabbing and killing Austin Metcalf, a white athlete and 4.0 GPA student at a Texas high school. The two were reportedly on opposing teams, and Anthony was sitting under the wrong tent. Metcalf pointed this out to Anthony, who took offense, made threats, and then took action.
Witnesses saw Anthony pull a knife, plunge it into Metcalf’s chest, and confess on the spot: “I’m not alleged, I did it.” Metcalf died in his brother’s arms. Yet, Collin County DA Greg Willis says Anthony won’t face the death penalty or even life without parole. Why? A 2005 Supreme Court ruling—Roper v. Simmons—ties the hands of prosecutors when it comes to juveniles, no matter how cold-blooded the act. As a reminder: if this story were reversed, towns would be burning to the ground at the hands of Black Lives Matter.
Anthony’s lawyers are claiming self-defense, but the kid brought a knife to a track meet and used it to kill a white student. Anthony should be facing the death penalty—instead, odds are he’ll get a limited sentence. That’s not justice; that’s a loophole big enough to drive a truck through. Metcalf’s family is left with a dead son and a system that shrugs.
To make matters worse, Anthony’s family is raising money for his defense. They initially started on GoFundMe, but the campaign was reportedly taken down and the funds returned because GoFundMe does not allow fundraising for violent offenders. Undeterred, the family is now claiming the killing is based on “false narratives.” Disgustingly, Jacob Wells, the self-proclaimed “Jesus-touting” co-founder of GiveSendGo—a donation platform that takes a percentage of the money raised—is allowing the family to use his site to collect funds, sparking widespread outrage online. The family is looking for $350k. As of now, they have $325k, no question they will scale past the desired amount.
People are mad about our stance to allow Karmelo Anthony family a campaign on GiveSendGo and I get it, it is a horrible situation. There are even calls for a boycott, but because I know a similar scenario will happen again for someone on the "right" and our competitor won't allow

Then there’s Naomi Elkins in New Jersey.
This woman drowned her own kids—ages 1 and 3—in bathtubs, stabbed the younger one for good measure, and told cops it was for “religious purposes” to “root out all evil.” Charging documents say she spent the night praying before deciding murder was her divine mission. A psychologist testified she thought she was the Messiah or Hitler’s kin, and that killing her children would save the world. The court’s verdict? Not guilty by reason of insanity. She’s off to a psych ward for “treatment,” not prison for life. Two toddlers are dead, and the system calls it a mental health issue, not a crime. Tell that to their graves.
This isn’t justice—it’s a mockery. Laws and pleas twist outcomes until punishment fits the criminal’s story, not the victim’s loss. Prosecutors are neutered, judges play philosopher, and the scales tip toward leniency for the indefensible. It’s a pattern: technicalities over truth, excuses over accountability.
TOTALLY WRONG
So, the kangaroo courts will seek justice at any and all means when it wants to see Trump locked up for life; they will confine and convict J6 protestors beyond reason for merely standing outside the Capital; grandma will be put in jail for praying outside an abortion clinic, but kill two kids and get off — stab a guy with a knife and be tried like a kid. And then we have Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci…
This has nothing to do with Anthony or Elkins, but it’s a perfect segue to who really deserves a courtroom reckoning: Joe Biden and his administration. A newly surfaced report from Lawrence Tabak at NIH, dug up by House investigators, shows NIH funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab—$3.7 million through EcoHealth Alliance. That’s the same lab tied to the COVID outbreak that killed millions. The report details how NIH dodged oversight, ignored warnings, and funneled cash to tweak viruses until they could jump to humans. Biden’s crew knew—Fauci testified to Congress, deflecting like a pro—and did nothing. They hid documents, stonewalled probes, and let the trail go cold while the world burned. Millions of people died, businesses were shuttered forever, kids are mentally struggling to this day because of the shutdown and yet, nothing will be done to Joe and Anthony.
The justice system’s blind eye isn’t just broken; it’s selective. And we’re all paying the price.
